A passion for visual story telling

This is a collection of photos and illustrations as an effort to practice spontaneous inspiration and to put creativity to use without a business objective.

2012-2013

These drawings were done when I gave birth to my daughter more than 12 years ago as a part of a visual story about the dance between inspiration and innocence.

2008-2012

During a period of deep appreciation for Tim Burton's films, I was inspired to shoot and art direct this photo series. This personal project later opened the door to a professional milestone: I had the incredible opportunity to direct and shoot the official imagery for one of Danny Elfman's live performances.

2013-2015

As a native Colombian, I felt a deep pull in 2013 to witness the profound resilience of the country's Indigenous peoples. This personal quest led me on a four-week journey—two weeks in the Amazon jungle, followed by two at the foot of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. The portraits in this collection are the result of that sabbatical, each a testament to the dignity I was privileged to witness. In shaping the final images, I drew direct inspiration for the color treatment from the intricate art of these communities, which itself is born from the visions experienced during ayahuasca journeys.
